In 2018, the first infrastructure education project in the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed in the form of a public-private partnership. As a result, a unified education platform called Kundelik was created.
Today, more than 6.5 thousand schools are connected to the platform, more than 4 million users work in it regularly, and the number of page views has exceeded 350 million per month.
The Kundelik platform has become a convenient and effective tool for increasing the transparency and efficiency of the education system in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kundelik's education platform is now an entire ecosystem, including an electronic gradebook that accelerates and enhances interactive interaction in the 'teacher-parent-student' triangle. It also includes a messenger, a social network, a content platform and more than a dozen partner applications and services for gamification and learning support for students and teachers.
Since its launch, the Kundelik platform has been integrated with more than 20 major services in Kazakhstan, including
Just two years after its launch, Kundelik.kz became one of the top 5 websites in the country. Now it is the most visited website in the Republic of Kazakhstan among all websites in the .kz domain.
The number of unique users per day (DAU) has increased 20 times in 7 years! And this figure continues to grow year on year
Kundelik Bonus is a loyalty programme launched jointly with Halyk Bank on the Kundelik platform in the Republic of Kazakhstan to improve users' financial literacy, accumulate bonuses for purchases and improve users' academic performance for excellent grades and achievements.
By the end of the 23-24 school year, more than 250,000 students had successfully used their accumulated bonuses to purchase real goods in shops.
Feedback from K.Bonus users confirms the high praise for the programme. Students and their parents note that the K.Bonus programme encourages students to achieve excellent grades, helps develop financial literacy and conscious management of their finances.
Due to connecting public and private schools to the Kundelik.kz electronic platform and eliminating paper gradebooks Kazakhstan's budget is saving more than $7,000,000 a year.
The Kundelik system delivered over 60,000 online lessons through Microsoft Teams and Zoom last school year alone.
“We are implementing a national project that is used in every family, in 6,000 schools 325,000 teachers fill in the electronic gradebook and the Ministry of Education and Science receives a transparent (reduces risks for corruption) and operative picture of academic performance across the country. Here we want to express our deep gratitude to the country's teachers. You are not only teaching the future of Kazakhstan, you are also helping to implement the first digital project nationwide!
There is no going back to the paper past. And there are no paper gradebooks today that can provide the comments that accompany criterion-referenced assessments.
We are the team of the kundelik.kz project: employees of the call centre and support service of the company, IT specialists, methodologists and analysts in the field of education, Kazakh and international investors, are proud of the work already done and believe in the further development of our project in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
